Media Innovations, LLC in addition to publishing, provides newsletters and annual guides for profit and non-profit organizations and individuals.
Becky Justice-Hemmann knows the value of the Chamber’s publications and works very hard to produce the best products for her customers. Her new business, Media Innovations, LLC, (MI), produces monthly newsletters for the Loveland, Greeley, Berthoud and Windsor Chambers of Commerce, All Property Management Services (Cornerstone Home Owners Association and Greenbriar Homeowners Association) and the Loveland-Berthoud Association of REALTORS®. The company is working on the Loveland Business Directory/Relocation Guide, the Loveland Visitors Guide, the Lafayette Annual Membership Directory, the Windsor Directory, the Evans Directory and the Greeley Directory.
“We are very proud of each newsletter. We feel they provide members with the best source of information that is available,” said Becky. “The newsletter reflects the personality of the Chambers, not just the staff, but also the members.” In addition, the financial benefit to the Chambers is enormous. The Chambers actually do not pay anything for the newsletters and guides; the newsletter and guide advertisers subsidize the costs. Advertising in the newsletters and guides supports the Chamber. Remember to do business with Chamber members first!
“We are a full service advertising, marketing, and public relations agency, in addition to publishing. We hear from business owners daily about the mistakes they make regarding advertising and feel that we can help them to develop an advertising campaign that reaches their target market.”
Becky says she loves meeting new people and making new friends every day, and using her creativity in helping to create and design ads. Prior to starting MI, Becky was employed by the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald as coordinator of newsletter projects. When the Reporter-Herald discontinued that department, Becky knew she didn’t want to do any other job.
“A new job didn’t come along, but a new idea did,” she said.
Her son and business partner, Robb Justice, was laid off in September 2001, an Enron casualty. He and several of his Enron co-workers started a new company in Portland, OR doing what they were doing for Enron. He was the Senior Vice President of Business Development and his new company was doing great. But when he found out that he was going to be a father, Robb and his wife, Michelle, who is also from Loveland, decided to come back to Colorado where their families live. He sold his part of the new company, sold the house, packed up his family — new baby, dog, two cats and came home.
The partners are excited about their mother-son venture, and make a great team. Other members of their team include Account Executive Dave Swinehart, Account Executive Susan Richards, Art Director Virginia Adams, as well as several sales representatives.
“We envision the Business Directory as the -‘yellow pages’ – the phone book to Loveland businesses,” said Becky. “These publications are the most prestigious marketing tool that are available to members and are an excellent opportunity to showcase their businesses,” said Becky.
